Requirements
Application Requirements:
- Those students applying to begin the AMP program their freshman year must have a High School GPA of 3.5 and a score of 24 or higher on the ACT English subtest, or a 600 or higher on the SAT English Subtest.
- Those students applying to begin the AMP program after at least one semester of undergraduate work at UNA or another college or university must meet the above qualification AND have earned a 3.25 overall GPA and a 3.5 GPA in English courses.
Continuation Requirements:
The program is focused on opportunities rather than obligations. You will be guided towards a curriculum which will maximize the efficiency of your education, but you are not required to follow that guidance. The primary requirement is that you maintain a subject area GPA of 3.5 and an overall GPA of 3.0.
Completion of the Bachelor's degree requires either a portfolio (Option 2) or successful completion of the MFT (option1).
Graduate Admission Requirements:
Before being formally admitted to the MA program, you will need to take the MAT and receive a score of 388 or higher, or the GRE and receive a combined score of 800 or higher. Your 491W project or 489W portfolio will serve as your writing sample
